Assign Data Items to Functions in Progressive Bar Charts To assign data items to functions in a progressive bar chart, complete these steps: 1. Select Data ð Assign Data or right-click in the progressive bar chart, and then select Assign Data to open the Assign Data dialog box. Perform one of these tasks to assign data items: Specifying How Data Items Are Used in Graphs 149 · · Use drag and drop features to assign data items.
