String the larger loop of the strap though the short loop and pull tight to attach the strap to the camera. Inserting the Batteries Follow these instructions to insert the two AA batteries into the battery compartment. Insert the batteries into the compartment observing the correct polarity. 3. Close the battery compartment. Note: Supplied AA batteries, new ALKALINE AA batteries (not supplied) or fully charged AA rechargeable batteries (not supplied) should be used for the first time. Attaching the Wrist Strap English Camera Setup 14 Camera Setup Inserting an SD/MMC Memory Card The camera features 10. 5 MB internal flash memory but you may also use an optional SD/MMC memory card for additional storage. Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the camera. English 2. Close the battery compartment. To remove the SD/MMC card, gently push the card until it pops out. Pull out the card carefully. English Taking your First Photo Taking a photo with the camera is very simple. Turn the camera on and press the Scene button to access the Auto mode. Frame the shot on the LCD screen and press the Shutter button halfway. When a camera steady warning icon appears, hold the camera as still as possible, as a longer exposure time (more than 1/30 second) is required. Anti-Shake Function This function is only available in Auto capture mode. Press the OK button to enable the AntiShake function, and press again to disable it. The Setup Menu English 40 Camera Settings Format English The Format setting allows you to erase all data in the internal memory or on the SD/MMC card. Three options are available: · Memory Card (default): All data on the SD/ MMC will be formatted. · Internal Memory: All data in the internal memory will be formatted. · Exit: Cancel format action. FORMAT MEMORY CARD INTERNAL MEMORY EXIT Reset The Reset setting allows you to reset the camera to the original factory default settings. [. . . ]
