Specifications are subject to change without notice. 24 COMPUTER INPUT PC ADJUSTMENT AUTO PC ADJUSTMENT Auto PC Adjustment function is provided to automatically adjust Fine sync, Total dots, Horizontal, and Vertical to conform to your computer. Auto PC Adj. 1 2 Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT button to move the red frame pointer to the PC ADJUST Menu icon. Press the POINT DOWN button to move the red frame pointer to the AUTO PC Adj. This Auto PC Adjustment can also be executed by pressing the AUTO PC ADJ. button on the Remote Control. PC ADJUST MENU PC ADJUST Menu icon Move the red frame pointer to the AUTO PC Adj. Adjustment parameters from Auto PC Adjustment can be memorized in this projector. Once parameters are memorized, the setting can be done just by selecting Mode in the PC SYSTEM Menu (P23). Refer to the step 3 of the MANUAL PC ADJUSTMENT section (P27). NOTE G The PC ADJUST Menu cannot be operated when the input signal is digital or RGB is selected in the PC SYSTEM Menu. G The Fine sync, Total dots, Horizontal, and Vertical of some computers cannot be fully adjusted with this Auto PC Adjustment function. When the image is not provided properly through this function, manual adjustments are required. (Refer to page 26, 27. ) G The Auto PC Adjustment function cannot be operated when "720p (HDTV), " "1035i (HDTV)", or "1080i (HDTV)" is selected in the PC SYSTEM Menu (P23). 25 COMPUTER INPUT MANUAL PC ADJUSTMENT This projector can automatically tune to the display signals from most personal computers currently distributed. However, some computers employ special signal formats which are different from the standard ones and may not be tuned by MultiScan system of this projector. If this happens, the projector cannot reproduce a proper image and the image may be recognized as a flickering picture, a non-synchronized picture, a non-centered picture or a skewed picture. This projector has Manual PC Adjustment to enable you to precisely adjust several parameters to match with those special signal formats. This projector has 5 independent memory areas to memorize those parameters manually adjusted. This enables you to recall the setting for a specific computer whenever you use it. 1 2 Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT button to move the red frame pointer to the PC ADJUST Menu icon. [. . . ] Check ALL-OFF switch on the Remote Control is set to "ON. " Make sure there is no obstructions between the projector and the Remote Control. Make sure you are not too far from the projector when using the Remote Control. G Make sure the code of the Remote Control is set to conform to the projector. (See the "SETTING" section on page 37. ) G Check cable connection between the projector and your computer. [. . . ]
