Owner's Manual Features and Design This Multimedia Projector is designed with most advanced technology for portability, durability, and ease of use. This projector utilizes built-in multimedia features, a palette of 1. 07 billion colors, and matrix liquid crystal display (LCD) technology. Functionally Rich Multilanguage Menu Display This projector has many useful functions such as lens shifting, ceiling and rear projection, perpendicular omnidirectional projection, variety of lens options, etc. Operation menu is available in 12 languages; English, German, French, It alian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Russian, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese (p. 48). Simple Computer System Setting Logo Function The projector has the Multi-scan system to conform to almost all computer output signals quickly (p. 34). [. . . ] AV SySTEM MENU (VIDEO OR S-VIDEO) AV System Menu icon The selected system is displayed Move the pointer to the desired system and press the SELECT button. y, Pb/Cb, Pr/Cr jacks Auto The projector automatically detects an incoming video signal, and adjusts itself to optimize its performance. COMPONENT VIDEO SIGNAL FORMAT If the projector cannot reproduce proper video image, select a specific component video signal format from among 480i, 575i, 480p, 575p, 720p, 1035i, and 1080i. Normal SCREEN MENU Screen Menu icon Move the red frame pointer to the desired function and press the SELECT button. Provide the image at the normal video aspect ratio of 4:3. Custom Adjust the screen scale and position manually with this function. Press the SELECT button at Custom and the "Custom" is displayed on the screen for a few seconds. To display the Aspect dialog box, press the SELECT button at Custom again and then the Aspect dialog box appears. Note: ·Wide cannot be operated when "720p, " "1035i, or "1080i" is selected on AV System " Menu (p. 41). Scale H/V . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Adjust "Scale H, " then the screen scale is automatically modified based on the aspect ratio. " Press the SELECT button at Common or Reset, to display a confirmation box. Note: ·When no signal is detected, "Normal" is set automatically and the Aspect dialog box disappears. ·The adjustable range for Scale H/V and Position H/V is limited depending on the input signal. 43 Video Input Keystone This function is used to store or reset the keystone correction when the Main On/Off Switch is pressed to Off or the AC power cord is unplugged. Keep the keystone correction even when the Main On/Off Switch is pressed to Off or the AC power cord is unplugged. Release the keystone correction when the Main On/ Off Switch is pressed to Off or the AC power cord is unplugged. Ceiling When this function is set to "On, the picture is top/bottom and " left/right reversed. [. . . ] PC Adjustment can be limited when these modes are selected.
