Video System Selection (Video / S-Video)

Press the MENU button, and the main menu appears. Select the Video System Selection menu with the POINT UP/DOWN button, and then press the POINT RIGHT button to enter the sub-menu.

Choose the system that you want to select with the POINT UP/DOWN button, and then press the SELECT button to activate the item.
Auto The projector automatically detects incoming video system, and adjusts itself to optimize its performance. However, when video system is PAL-M or PAL-N, select either PAL-M or PAL-N manually. PAL / SECAM / NTSC / NTSC4. 43 / PAL-M / PAL-N If the projector cannot reproduce proper video image, select a specific system among PAL, SECAM, NTSC, NTSC 4. 43, PAL-M, and PAL-N.

You can select Computer input or Video input with the INPUT button. (The input source that is selected last is selected when the projector is turned on. ) If the projector cannot reproduce proper image, select a correct input source through menu operation as shown below.

RGB Scart Input TOP CONTROL When RGB Scart 21-pin output is available in video equipment, connect the Scart connector to the "COMPUTER IN" on the projector with an optionally supplied Scart-VGA cable. (See page 51 for order. ) SELECT To select RGB Scart input, follow the procedures described below. Note RGB Scart input (COMPUTER IN) can receive 575i only.

Move the pointer to the source that you want to select with the POINT UP/DOWN button, and press the SELECT button. *Select the RGB (Scart) only when connecting the projector with the Scart-VGA cable.

Computer Input
Computer System Selection
This projector automatically tunes to most different types of computers based on VGA, SVGA, XGA, or SXGA in most cases (refer to "Compatible Computer System" on the next page). When selecting Computer, this projector automatically tunes to incoming signal and projects proper image without any special setting. [. . . ] G Wait 90 seconds after the projector is turned OFF when turning the projector back on. NOTE : After pressing the POWER ON-OFF button to OFF, make sure the projector works as follows: 1. After 90 seconds, the READY indicator lights green again and the projector can be turned on by pressing the POWER ON-OFF button. (Refer to page 44. )
