Manual abstract: user guide RYOBI RHP-6150

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] SHORT CIRCUIT HAZARD Do not allow children or incompetent persons to use the cleaner. According to DIN 1988, power-jet cleaners may only be connected to the mains drinking water supply if a backflow preventer valve with drain facility is installed in the supply hose. CONTAMINATION HAZARD Maintenance and/or repair of electrical components must be carried out by qualified staff. [. . . ] The cleaner must only be used with clean water; use of unfiltered water or corrosive chemicals will damage the cleaner. 9 The packaging is easily recyclable, and must be disposed of in compliance with the regulations in force in the country of installation. 1 If the motor stops and fails to restart, wait 2 to 3 minutes before restarting. 5A, then press the trigger for a few seconds to allow air to escape and to discharge residual pressure in the pipes. USING DETERGENT CAUTION: liquid detergent must be sprayed at low pressure. 5D Select LOW PRESSURE (see instructions); the detergent will be sucked up and mixed with the water, with the suction rate regulated by the knob provided. 5E The cleaner is equipped with the adjustable nozzle, which provides some important functions: LOW PRESSURE operation (for suction and spraying of detergent). 5E CORRECT USE OF THE ROTARY NOZZLE (Where fitted) For increased washing power, use the rotary nozzle kit as follows: Turn off the high pressure cleaner Unscrew the adjustable head and fit the rotary nozzle onto the lance. RECOMMENDED CLEANING PROCEDURE Dissolve dirt by applying detergent with the fan jet to the dry surface. Leave the detergent to act for 1 to 2 minutes, but do not allow to dry out. Apply the high pressure jet, keeping the ) from the surface, working from the bottom upwards. 6E Discharge residual pressure by pressing the trigger until no more water comes out of the adjustable nozzle. Operate the cleaner with noncorrosive/non-toxic antifreeze before storing for the winter. - Time delay device on motor ~ 8 seconds after release of the gun trigger. Do not use the appliance for prolonged periods at zero pressure (bypass recycling) or allow the water to overheat since these could damage the sealing system. The controls on the control panel of the appliance are of the TOUCH-PAD PUSHBUTTON type, thus ensuring easy operation and optimum protection against water splashes (IP 55). [. . . ] Ensure that this is the case by checking that the motor fan turns in the correct direction. The pump does not operate at the prescribed pressure Sudden changes in pump pressure The motor buzzes but fails to start Motor does not start Water leakages Excess noise Oil leaks Power cable damaged Nozzle worn Water filter fouled Water supply pressure low Air being sucked into the system Air in pump Replace nozzle Clean filter Turn on the water supply tap fully Check that hose fittings are tight Switch off the cleaner and operate the gun until a steady flow of water is obtained. Then switch cleaner back on Pull adjustable nozzle back (+) Connect cleaner to mains water supply Reduce temperature Disconnect power supply, discharge pressure and clean with tool provided Have seals replaced by an authorised service centre Check that the plug is firmly in the socket and that mains power is present.
