In the song screen, press the [F1 (MEDIA)] button to select the media on which the desired song is saved. An icon will appear. fig. songSel-3. eps 2. Press the [ENTER] button. The songs in that folder will appear. 3. Use the [VALUE] dial to select a song. To exit that folder, use the [VALUE] dial to select "Up" and then press the [ENTER] button. If a single folder contains more than 500 files or folders, some of the files or folders might not be shown. If the following screen appears A screen like the one shown below will appear if you attempt to select a different song without saving the previouslyrecorded performance. fig. songSel-4. eps If you press the [F4 (OK)] button, the previously recorded performance will be erased. To stop the song, press the [F3 (STOP)] button. 69 Playing songs and recording your performances Recording your performance You can record your own performance on the V-Piano. 1. In the song screen, choose song number 000 (song name: New Song). fig. songRec-1. eps 2. If you want the metronome to sound while you're recording, turn Function on, and press the [F4 (OPTION)] button. The option menu will appear. fig. songRec-2. eps · In the option menu, use the [F3 ()] button or the [F4 ()] button to select a metronome parameter. · Use the [VALUE] dial to change the setting of the selected parameter. Parameter Metronome Switch Metronome Volume Beat Description Turns the metronome on/off. When you've finished making metronome settings, press the [EXIT] button to return to the song screen. If you want to record a new song (rather than layering onto an existing song), press the [F4 (NEW SONG)] button.
