Be sure that all five sil pads (insulators) are i n place o n t h e heatsink. BE SURE THATTHE NYLON SHOULDER WASHERS ARE I N PLACE O N TRANSISTORS Q2, Q4 a n d Q8 (TO-220 cases). Install t h e #4-40 screws in these and snug u p only: D O N O T OVERTIGHTEN THESE DRIVER SCREWS AS THIS MAY DAMAGE THE T H I N SHOULDER WASHERS A N D CAUSE A SHORT. #4-40 screws o n t h e o u t p u t and TIGHTEN TH ESE FI RMLY T O ENSURE PROPER HEAT TRANSFER T O THE HEATSINK. Slide heatsink assembly forward so that all LEDs are properly aligned in t h e front panel holes. Replace t h e i n p u t l o u t p u t plate and b o t t o m cover (don't forget t h e four screws holding t h e b o t t o m cover t o t h e side rails). Transformer removal: The transformer i s held in place by four l/4" bolts into separate nuts on the right side and a retaining nut plate on the left side. To remove the two right-side bolts, it is necessary to remove the heatsink assembly t o gain access t o the t w o nuts. Remove the 8 heatsink mounting screws, 7 front panel screws and 7 input/output plate screws: now you may slide the heatsinkassembly to the rearand lift it up, out and t o the left t o gain access t o the transformer nuts.
