Installing EKM with IBM Java disables functioning Sun Java plug-in and i2000 RMI interface does not function after EKM install. Q-EKM enabled systems with more than 36 LTO-4 drives may fail with key/ASC/ASCQ: 4/ee/e. This type of failure only occurs during extremely high amounts of key requests (or move medium commands).
