[. . . ] [. . . ] QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS Prior to setting up DDNS for your DVR, your DVR must be set up for remote viewing. STEP 1: Go to your desktop computer and go to Internet Explorer. QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS STEP 2: Go to http://myq-see. com/ STEP 3: Click on "New User?". QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS STEP 4: Enter in the required information into their respective fields and then click "Submit". STEP 5: Enter a domain name in the required field and then click "Request Domain". QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS STEP 6: Your domain name has been set up; write down your IP address. STEP 7: Press the Menu button on the Front Panel of the DVR. QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS STEP 8: Move the cursor to "Network" and press "Select". STEP 9: Move the cursor to "DDNS Setup" and press "Select". QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS STEP 10: Switch DDNS from "off" to "on". STEP 11: Set the service to "myq-see. com" (if this is not an option, you may need to update your firmware). QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS STEP 12: Enter the "Host name" (this is the domain name you created in step 5). STEP 13: Enter in the "user name" (this is the email address you used for step 4). QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS STEP 14: Enter in the "password" (this is the password you created for step 4). STEP 15: Move the cursor to "Apply" and press "Select". QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS STEP 16: Move the cursor to "Exit" and press "Select". STEP 17: Enter in the DNS (you can find this on your router under Primary Domain Name Server/DNS on the status tab). QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS STEP 18: Move the cursor to "Apply" and press "Select". STEP 19: Move the cursor to "Exit" and press "Select". QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS STEP 20: Go to your desktop computer and go to Internet Explorer. STEP 21: Go to http://myq-see. com/ QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS STEP 22: Enter the login information that is associated with your domain name that you created. STEP 23: Check the IP address to see if it has updated to match the external IP address of your router that you forwarded your ports to (it should be different than the one you wrote down earlier). QSD9004 Setting Up DDNS STEP 24: On the address bar, enter in the domain name you created followed by the port that you forwarded (for example: http://example. myq-see. com:83). STEP 25: Press the login button (note: if this screen does not come up, you may need to install ActiveX; see the "ActiveX Controls" guide).
