THIS IS BEST DONE BY FLASHING 5-6 TIMES IN THE FLASH SEQUENCE POSITION "S" (5) WITH THE MANUAL FLASH RELEASE (6). [. . . ] Moreover, the light can be operated with normal or double intensity, with the light switch in either position. This applies to the 100 W Krypton lamp as well as the 250 W helogen lamp. A switch (11) is provided for this under the carrying handle, With the switch position on constant light, the lamps can be operated with normal or double intensity if connected to 220 volts. IF 12OV/25OW HELOGEN LAMPS ARE USED, THEIR INTENSITY IS INCREASED 4 TIMES. LONG FLASH SERIES WITH QUICK FLASH SEQUENCES SHOULD THEREFORE BE INTERRUPTED BY INTERVALS IN ORDER TO AVOID OVER-HEATING OF THE LAMPS. 4 Photocell The highly sensitive photocell built into a coaxial plug is simply plugged into the synchro connection instead of the synchro cable. Synchro Cable The synchro cable is equipped with a coaxial plug and can be extended by 5 meter lengths. Generator Dolly On the ground plate of the generator dolly there are four magnets which attach the dolly to the generator. The complete unit can thus be lifted comfortably over door-sills and cables. Detachment is easily done by holding down the dolly with the foot and lifting the generator. Lamp Head In the lamp head clamp there is a pivot with for Profoto tripods. Beside the cable inlet, (10) for independent switching on and off of of the single lamp heads. a 3/8" camera thread can also be clamped there is a switch the modeling light Umbrella Reflectors The pickup-sleeve for umbrellas is situated on the front side of the lamp housing. The distance between flash tube and reflector umbrella is adjustable. Barn-door (Pat. ) These are pushed on to the normal reflector in such a way that the wire hoops form a spring loop on the outside. The four slide pulleys rest on the reflector rim and the barn-door can be rotated in any direction. Profoto filters can be mounted on the protruding wire ends. 5 Reflectors Profoto reflectors can be set to various positions on the lamp head Consequently the light angle can be increased or reduceod as required.
