Each restore method, as described in the table below, takes into account the functionality that is or is not available on the machine. In many instances, you do not need to restart the machine to complete a restoration. IMPORTANT!Before you can restore a machine, you must have a backup image already created. You cannot restore the operating system or data on a machine if a backup image of that drive does not exist.
