See "TO LEVEL MOWER HOUSING" in the Service and Adjustments section of this manual. · Drive so that clippings are discharged onto the area that has been cut. This will result in a more even distribution of clippings and more uniform cutting. · When mowing large areas, start by turning to the right so that clippings will discharge away from shrubs, fences, driveways, etc. After one or two rounds, mow in the opposite direction making left hand turns until finished. 21 8 63 212 12 7 10 12 13 14 112 52 11 18 59 66 61 42 56 41 65 64 70 · If grass is extremely tall, it should be mowed twice to reduce load and possible fire hazard from dried clippings. · Always operate engine at full throttle when mowing to assure better mowing performance and proper discharge of material. Do not overtighten. SAE OR 10W30 MOTOR OIL REFER TO MAINTENANCE "ENGINE" SECTION IMPORTANT: Do not oil or grease the pivot points which have special nylon bearings. Viscous lubricants will attract dust and dirt that will shorten the life of the self-lubricating bearings.
