[. . . ] Stira&Aspira TOP has a suction function, to avoid creases on the clothing, so common with traditional ironing boards. The suction function also facilitates the ironing of creases in trouserlegs or pleats. The surface has a heating function too, drying clothes and making ironing even smoother, quicker and less tiring. The airing function inflate delicates fabrics so that it is possible to iron over with steam power only. [. . . ] Do not use electric extension leads that are not authorized by the manufacturer, as they may cause damage or fire. If it is necessary to replace the power supply cable, please refer to the nearest Polti authorised service centre, since the use of a special tool is necessary. Never touch the appliance with wet hands or feet with the cable plugged into the mains. Do not use the appliance near a bathtub, shower or container full of water Never immerse the appliance, the cable or the plugs in water or other liquids. Use of the appliance in places where there is a danger of explosions is prohibited. Do not place the appliance near a live element, an electric stove or any other source of heat. Activate the automatic closing hook lever (B) only if the board is resting horizontally on the ground; pay attention during board opening and closing procedures and always guide the board up from the floor. If in the future you need replace the ironing board fabric cover or the lining, always be sure that the replacement is permeable to humidity.
