INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE IMPORTANT: if your generator is fitted with a detergent function, this must not be enabled when using the KIT SANI SYSTEM POLTI. · Switch on your steam generator as described in the user's manual. This indicates that the resistor inside the delivery device has reached operating temperature. · Press the steam delivery push-button (2) to obtain a steam delivery from the delivery device. The steam delivery push-button (2) is positioned in a `safe position' to avoid accidental delivery of steam. Note: · While the device is in use, the delivery lamp (1) lights up and turns off. This indicates that the electrical resistor is starting to work to keep the temperature in the delivery device steady. It is therefore possible to continue sanitising regularly, as this occurrence is normal. · BEFORE STARTING TO SANITISE, IT IS ADVISABLE TO DIRECT THE FIRST JET OF STEAM ONTO A CLOTH OR DOWNWARDS FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 SECONDS WITHOUT HOOKING UP THE FITTING FOR THE DISPOSABLE BOTTLE (9). TIPS FOR USE Before treating delicate or special surfaces with the SANI SYSTEM POLTI POLTI sanitising system, consult the manufacturer's instructions and carry out a test on a hidden part of the surface or on a sample of the material. Allow the sanitised part to dry to make sure that no changes in colour or deformations have occurred. MAINTENANCE Before carrying out any maintenance on the device, always unplug it from the power mains and allow it to cool down before proceeding.
