Never leave the appliance unattended with the cable plugged into the mains. Never let children or people who are not familiar with how the Cinderella Steam works use it. Used on all types of synthetic or woollen fitted carpeting, laid on floors or used as wall coverings, and on all other carpets and rugs, CINDERELLA STEAM guarantees maximum hygiene and restores their original appearance, brightening their colours. Use the brush on the surface without a cloth to lift the dirt out of the pile, then cover the brush with a cotton cloth and go over the surface again to pick up the dirt. If the carpeting is particularly delicate, fold the cloth in half or in three. Clean rapidly without pressing down on the carpeting and moving the brush forward, back and from side to side without leaving the brush in the same place for too long. You can repeat the process as many times as you like without the risk of damaging the surfaces. If the carpeting is particularly dirty or saturated with detergent products, do not try too hard to get perfect results the first time: results will be evident only after CINDERELLA STEAM has been used several times. SQUEEGEE (B) The squeegee will permit you to effectively and rapidly clean all glazed surfaces without detergents. Your windows will remain clean longer because they will not have the film normally left by traditional window cleaning products, to which dust and greasy steam adhere. Clean windows in 2 phases: ­ apply steam over the surface to be cleaned to loosen the dirt. ­ pass the squeegee over the surface, without using steam, to pick up the dirt. When cleaning glazed surfaces during particularly cold weather, pre-heat the glass by holding the steam pistol at a distance of about 50 cm from the surface. If you do, the appliance will be easier to handle if you use the special handle (7) provided for this purpose. ROUND BRUSH (D) The round brush is sloped to permit you to direct the steam jet at the most hidden spots which are difficult to reach with the steam pistol. It can be used to clean the dirt which collects between tiles or remove stubborn stains from floors, rugs and carpets, making it a very useful and irreplaceable accessory. To remove stubborn stains, use the round brush to clean the stain and then rub vigorously with the cloth. CONNECTING ACCESSORIES To attach accessories to your CINDERELLA STEAM: · Press the coupling button (9a) on steam outlet nozzle (9) (fig. 1). · Attach the required accessory by inserting the stud on the nozzle into the hole in the accessory. WARNING: to attach the squeegee, you must fit steam baffle (E) onto steam outlet (9), ensuring that the small hole is pointing downwards (fig. 2). PRACTICAL ADVICE ON USING YOUR CINDERELLA STEAM PRECAUTIONS · For cleaning leather, wood or delicate fabrics especially darlon, velvet and other pile surfaces, consult the manufacturers instructions. Clean only by using the hand gun at a safe distance together with a soft cloth and always do a test on a non visible part of the item first or on a sample. Allow the test area to dry completely before observing results and effects on surface or colour before proceeding to clean further areas, ensuring that exactly the same distance and technique are applied as for the test area. If in doubt, and on sensitive surfaces like fabrics, leather and wood it is always better to ask for advice from your Steam Cleaner Dealer For cleaning wood surfaces (furniture, doors, etc. . ) take great case as too long an application of the steam could alter the waxed appearance, the shine or the colour of the surface cleaned.
