Connect the two conductors on the other end of the wire to the speaker terminals. To connect wire to the binding post, unscrew the plastic hex nut on the binding post and insert the bare wire into the hole near the base of the binding post. Do not insert the insulated part of the wire into the hole as this will not give you a good connection. Twist the hex nut back down the binding post until it firmly meets the wire. The RT powered loudspeakers have a built-in power amplifier and must be plugged into a standard household AC power source in order to properly operate. RT powered loudspeakers sold within North America are designed to be connected to 110-120 volt AC outlets (Figure 3). All switchable multi-voltage units are preset at the factory to operate with 220-240 volts ("230V"). They may be reset for 110-120 volts ("115V") by simply moving the voltage selector switch located on the amplifier panel (Figure 4).
