[. . . ] The SpeedCycler by LPA Design User's Manual The SpeedCycler Purpose Most strobes require a few seconds to recycle. In some circumstances a photographer will need to fire faster than the recycle times permit. [. . . ] Rechargeable batteries have an output voltage lower than alkaline batteries so reliability and total operating time will suffer. To change the batteries, hold the unit upside-down with the rounded corners away from you. It will slide out far enough to remove the batteries but cannot come out of the case entirely. The plus (+) and minus (-) markings designate the end of the battery that is showing through the hole. There is also a label inside the battery channel that shows the proper battery orientation. However, to insure continued reliability, please follow these guidelines: · Do not subject the unit to high mechanical shock (don't drop it!) · Damage may occur to some components if the SpeedCycler is stored below -20°C (-4°F) or above +85°C (185°F). · Do not connect any device to this unit unless that device is approved for use by LPA Design. Connection to unapproved devices may cause damage and will void your warranty. · Remove the batteries when storing the unit for an extended amount of time. · To clean the SpeedCycler, use a lightly dampened cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces.
