QuadTriggering allows you to set up four sets of remote flashes or cameras and trip any combination with one transmitter. Program each receiver to the same channel, but different sub-channels: A, B, C, or D. If you want only three remotes to fire, simply turn one of them off, by pressing the appropriate sub-channel key on your transmitter, and fire the ones you want. Please note that channels 17-32 cannot be used with any older PocketWizard products or the PocketWizard Plus. Example: You could, for example, have four receivers with strobes attached to them in four corners of a room set up on channel 17A, 17B, 17C and 17D. If you set your transmitter to channel 17, you can control which strobes or cameras are activated for each shot. Setup for Quad-Triggering 1. Set the transmitter to any channel numbered 17-32 (but pick one that someone else in your area is not using!Using the A, B, C, D, and L keys, choose which strobes you wish to fire. Each time you press one of the A-B-C-D-L keys, that channel will be toggled on or off. The L key is the strobe attached to the "To Flash" connector on the Transmitter. If the letter is not shown, the respective flash (or flashes) will not fire. The transmitter will show, by default, A - B - C - D - L when set to channel 17. If you or someone else has used your PocketWizard Max before, some or none of the letters may be showing. For each one, choose a sub-channel, A, B, C, or D by pressing the respective key on the keypad. [. . . ] If so, move it to "ON" position. Electrical Specifications The following specifications are provided for the more technical user or for using the Max in a non-standard environment, such as permanent installation. When this voltage is brought below ~2. 2 V, the transmitter will be "tripped". The To Camera and To Flash jacks are rated for voltages up to 250 V DC. Peak current of up to 4A for 50uS maximum is acceptable or continuous current of up to 1A. [. . . ]
