These adjustments can be made separately for the different input terminals. Items that cannot be adjusted with the currently selected input signal are displayed in white characters. buttons to Use the SELECT buttons to select the item, then use the SELECT adjust the value. This adjusts the volume of the audio input signals connected to the AUDIO terminal. button to increase the volume, the SELECT button to decrease · The adjustment is stored separately for the individual sources. · The sound of the device connected to the AUDIO terminal is produced even when the input is switched. E-40 Image Options Keystone Use this to adjust for trapezoidal (keystone) distortion of the projected image. Adjust using the SELECT buttons. Note: · The keystone adjustment value can be stored in the memory. · The keystone adjustment can be set within a range of +/-30° with respect to the angle of projection. The adjustable range becomes narrower if a signal with a resolution greater than the projector's native resolution (number of pixels displayed) is displayed. Keystone distortion Normal image Lamp Mode Use this if the picture is projected on a small screen and the picture is too bright or when projecting images in dark rooms. Using this mode lengthens the lamp's service life. Note: Frequent switching this mode can degrade the lamp. Aspect Ratio Use this to set the size of the projected picture. (When 16:9 letterbox signals are input, the picture is widened in the horizontal and vertical directions and projected in 4:3 size. ) Wide Zoom . (When 16:9 squeeze signals are input, the picture is widened in the horizontal direction and projected in 4:3 size. ) Cinema . . . . . . . (When 16:9 squeeze signals are input, the picture is narrowed and projected in 16:9 size. ) The display position (right edge, center and left edge) can be changed using the "Cinema Position" setting. Zoom Wide Zoom Cinema E-41 Image Options Noise Reduction Use this to reduce noise that causes roughness of the picture or muddiness of colors. Select the strength of the noise reduction of the brightness signal in one of three steps. Position/Clock Use this to adjust the picture's display position and the phase of analog RGB signals. Normally these settings are adjusted automatically when the source is selected. Adjust them if they have not been sufficiently adjusted with the automatic adjustment. For RGB sources, if "Auto Adjust" is set, this is displayed in white characters and cannot be selected. Use the SELECT buttons to select the item, then use the SELECT adjust. buttons to Horizontal Use this to adjust when the image is off-centered to the left or right. Vertical Use this to adjust when the image is off-centered upwards or downwards. Clock Adjust this if there are light and dark vertical stripes on the picture. [. . . ] · Contact a store that sells the U2-X2000 for a replacement lamp. Indicate you need a U2-200 replacement lamp for the U2-X2000 (order code 28-320). CAUTION · DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP immediately after it has been used. · DO NOT LOOSEN ANY SCREWS except for those men-tioned in the instructions below. There is danger of electric shock. CAUTION Do not use a lamp cartridge other than the PLUS replacement lamp cartridge. [. . . ]
