[. . . ] This user guide provides you with information on the installation and use of your AEI Adapter. [. . . ] â· Keep all products, cords and cables away from operating machinery. These instructions assume you have already installed your CA40 DECT Adapter in accordance with the instructions detailed in the CA40 DECT Adapter Quick Start Guide. Set the CA40 DECT Adapter Transmit Override to the correct level for the Tenovis telephone using the following instructions. (Please note that all the controls and indicators referred to in these instructions are located on the CA40 DECT Adapter base unit). Press and hold the Page Button, press the Mode Button, then release both buttons. Press the Up or Down button until both indicators I and II are illuminated. Refer to the user manual supplied with your Tenovis telephone for instructions on how to do this. The AEI Adapter automatically handles hookswitch control so there is no longer any need to remove/replace the handset when placing a call.
