[. . . ] Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped. " Connect only to a power supply of the type marked on the unit adjacent to the power supply cord. If this product is to be mounted in an equipment rack, rear support should be provided. [. . . ] example: If the mixer output rating is +14 dBu , the VSXII gain should be set at +8 dB (2214 = +8 dB). If the mixer output rating were 22 dBu, the correct setting would be 0dB. For mixers with output capability at +22 dBu or higher, gain settings above 0 dB will not improve headroom but will increase system noise. Provides a 24 dB per octave roll-off at 40 Hz to reduce subsonic rumble and to protect the low speaker from operating below its cut-off frequency. When engaged reverses the polarity of the signal in the Low frequency band to speed up trouble shooting and assure proper phase response of the audio system. This green LED indicates the presence of a signal higher than -22 dBu in the LOW 1-band even if the band is muted. When engaged eliminates the signal in the LF1 band, to help during installation of the audio system. This red LED indicates when the signal level in the LF1 frequency band is approaching the maximum available headroom of +22 dBu. Each band-pass section features a level control to compensate for the various loudspeaker efficiency ratings. the Low 1 Level has +/-20 dB range and unity gain (default) at the center detent position. The VSXII two outputs per channel are derived from a fourth-order, Linkwitz/Riley, state variable filter (24 dB per octave slope). This red LED indicates when the signal level in the LOW 2 frequency band is approaching the maximum available headroom of +22 dBu. Each band-pass section features a level control to compensate for the various loudspeaker efficiency ratings. The VSXII two outputs per channel are derived from a fourth-order, Linkwitz/Riley, state variable filter (24 dB per octave slope). Each filter is independent, with the crossover frequency selected via a recessed knob, rotary control, to prevent accidental changing of the critical crossover frequency. Control range is from 60 Hz to 6 kHz and in stereo MODE determines the -6 dB crossover point between the low and high frequency bands within channel 2. In mono MODE this control determines the crossover point between the MID and HIGH frequency bands. Each band-pass section features a level control to compensate for the various loudspeaker efficiency ratings. the HIGH 2 Level has +/-20dB range and unity gain (default) at the center detent position. Adjusts the amount of boost within the HIGH band to compensate for the frequency roll-off and lost of efficiency with some compression drivers. The screwdriver shaft control provides a variable boost from 0 dB to +12 dB at 20 kHz, with first-order slop and excellent phase response. When engaged, reverses the polarity of the signal in the HIGH 2 frequency band to speed up trouble shooting and assure proper phase response of the audio system. [. . . ] Signal present Green, -22 dBu threshold, each frequency band (All level controls @ 0 dB, Crossover control @ 1 kHz, 40 Hz LCF off, 22 Hz-22 kHz BW) Each output is -6 dB at the selected crossover frequency due to the true Linkwitz/Riley configuration. Signal present Green, -22 dBu threshold, each frequency band What This Warranty Does Not Cover The Warranty does not cover: (1) damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, rental, product modification or neglect; (2) damage occurring during shipment; (3) damage caused by repair or service performed by persons not authorized by Peavey; (4) products on which the serial number has been altered, defaced or removed; (5) products not purchased from an Authorized Peavey Dealer. Who This Warranty Protects This Warranty protects only the original retail purchaser of the product. 2 years *(+ 3 years) 2 years *(+ 1 year) 3 years *(+ 2 years) 1 year *(+ 1 year) 2 years 1 year 90 days [*Denotes additional warranty period applicable if optional Warranty Registration Card is completed and returned to Peavey by original retail purchaser within 90 days of purchase.
