SANDING AND SURFACES The sanding output and the quality of the surface finish are determined by the rotation speed and the grade of grit on the sanding disc (see table under "Advice on use, Tips and Tricks"). The following basic rule applies: the higher the rotational speed, the higher the sanding output and the finer the sanded surface finish. VACUUM DUST EXTRACTION USING THE DUST COLLECTION BOX Push the dust collection box on to the adapter opening on the side of the sander. Note: Empty the dust collection box regularly and at the appropriate intervals, striking the box to dislodge any adhering dirt. VACUUM DUST EXTRACTION USING A VACUUM CLEANER To use a vacuum cleaner for dust extraction you will require the appropriate adapter. Connect the adapter to the hose end piece of your vacuum cleaner and attach it on to the nozzle of the sander. For best results, do this immediately after you have finished using it.
