Special programming Alarm An alarm sounds at the set time for 1 minute and is repeated 5 times at 5 minute intervals (snooze function). You can set one of 3 different alarm options (once, daily, or weekly) for each alarm time. Select an alarm by pressing 1 to 3. “Weekly” Alarm sounds weekly at the set time(s). Night mode Night mode allows you to select a period of time during which the handset will not ring for outside calls. This feature is useful for time periods when you do not want to be disturbed, for example, while sleeping. Changing the handset name Each handset can be given a customised name (“Bob”, “Kitchen”, etc. ). You can also select whether or not the handset name is displayed in standby mode. If you select “Yes” without entering any handset name, “Handset 1” to “Handset 6” is displayed. When a call is received, the unit does not ring while the caller is being identified. If the phone number matches an entry in the call barred list, the unit emits no sound to the caller, and disconnects the call. The name stored in the phonebook is not fully displayed while an outside call is being received. Answering system Problem The unit does not record new messages. R If you subscribe to a voice mail service, messages are recorded by your service provider/telephone company, not your telephone.
