[. . . ] Do not place it near a gas burner or an electric hotplate, or on an oven that is hot. Do not use the appliance for anything other than the purpose for which it is intended. To disconnect the appliance, please switch it off by pressing the On/Off button and then remove the plug from the power supply. [. . . ] While the machine is working you can adjust the coffee nozzle to suit the height of the cup. Press the one cup button to make one cup of coffee, or if you prefer, press the two cup button to make two cups of coffee. The blue light will light up once the desired amount of coffee has been made, and after some 40 seconds, the blue light will switch off. You can then remove the cup of coffee to serve it or open the lid to change the coffee bag. Do not open the lid immediately after the appliance has finished working if the blue light remains lit so as to avoid burning yourself. The blue light shows that there is still pressure and steam in the coffee preparation area. While it is working, if it becomes clear that the colour of the coffee is changing slightly, and the blue light is lit, press the one cup or two cup button. Then press the On/Off switch to switch off the electricity supply and open the lid to change the coffee bag. After changing the bag, if you want to continue making coffee, repeat step 7, outlined above. If two blue lights start blinking while the appliance is working this indicates that there is insufficient water in the water tank. Or if the blue light remains lit, press the one cup or two cup button first, and then the On/Off button to switch off the power. Then unplug the plug from the wall socket if you are not going to continue using the coffee maker. The coffee maker is not equipped with a filter for loose coffee powder. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE PRECAUTION: Ensure you unplug the appliance before cleaning it. To avoid electric shock, do not submerge the cable, the plug or the unit in water or any other liquid. After every use, always make sure that first of all you remove the plug from the wall socket, and wait until it cools down completely. Clean all the removable parts in hot, soapy water every time you use the appliance. Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth to remove any stains. [. . . ] Make sure that the On/Off button has been pressed, and that the On/Off indicator light is lit. Please get in touch with the authorised technical service agent to have it repaired. Clean the coffee maker and accessories thoroughly several times before using it after descaling. [. . . ]
