Danger: the base housing the motor must not be submerged in water or other liquids or held under running water, as this could cause an electric shock. - Before using the juice extractor for the first time, wash the cone, the strainer, the juice container and the transparent lid with hot water and a few drops of dishwashing liquid. IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE POSITIONING OF THE JUICE EXTRACTOR - Place the juice extractor on a level surface that cannot be damaged by splashes of juice, which cannot always be avoided. - Do not place the juice extractor on hot surfaces such as plate warmers or near flames. - Never use abrasive or caustic cleaning products, as these may damage the surface of the juice extractor. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Precaution: if too much pressure is applied to the cone while the appliance is extracting juice, the motor could stop and be damaged. - If you wish to pour the juice directly into a glass, put a glass below the valve and press downwards to open the valve. Cut a citrus fruit in half and press the cut end into the centre of the cone. The juice extractor stops automatically when the pressure on the cone is reduced.
