Make sure that the saucepan is positioned in the centre of the ring and that its handle is in a safe position. Once you have finished cooking, turn the temperature control to the "0" position. Do not leave the appliance unattended when there are children near it. Do not position the appliance near material such as curtains, so as to avoid any risk of fire.
