To charge for the first time, place the adapter connector in the charging stand, and then place the appliance on the stand (you can also connect the hair trimmer directly to the adapter). During recharging, the display shows continuously the percentage charge available in the battery. When all the digits are lit continuously, it means that charging has been completed. During operation of the appliance, the display will show the percentage charge remaining in the battery by means of lit digits. as the battery charge depletes , the digits will progressively go dark. The last digit will go from green to red and, finally, when the entire display is dark, the hair trimmer will cease to operate. Please do not recharge the battery at temperatures below 0ºC or above 40ºC.
