Our scales are designed for a long life, but incorrect use or handling may cause malfunctions of the electronic sensors. Tare/Zero Key: when this key is pressed, "0" will be displayed within a tolerance of +4% of the maximum weight and negative weight. When the scales are tared to "0", a circle symbol will appear in the bottom left corner of the display. Mode Key: this toggles the weighing unit between grammes (g), pounds (lb) and ounces (oz). The display will show "oL-d" when there is an excessive weight on the scales. [. . . ] If the weight on the scales remains constant, with a variation of ± 3 grammes for 90 seconds, the scales will turn off automatically to save energy. [. . . ]
