[. . . ] IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS In order to reduce the risk of injury, you must take certain basic safety precautions when using electrical devices: 1. Use the handles or knobs and proceed with due care as there are accessible surfaces at high temperatures when the device is operating. [. . . ] Always connect first the control panel to the grill and then the other end of the cord to the wall socket. To unplug, turn off the control panel and then pull the plug out of the socket. If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer or its authorized technical service or by a qualified technician in order to avoid hazards. Only use this device with the removable socket supplied (removable thermostat). DIRECTIONS FOR USE Before using for the first time, familiarize yourself with the features of your grill. wash the grill in the dishwasher or in warm , soapy water , rinse and dry. Never immerse the control panel or allow it to come into contact with any liquid. "Grease" the plate surface by rubbing it lightly with cooking oil. During cooking, the lamp will remain lit and the thermostat will keep the device at the desired temperature. Place the food on the grill and cook to your taste or as stated in the grilling times given below. The heat should be adjusted to your personal preference and the food to be cooked. A short power cord is supplied in order to reduce the risk of getting tangled or tripping. If you use an extension cable, this must have a capacity that is equal or greater than the grill's power rating. The extension cable should be placed so that it is not covered by fabrics or in a place that is accessible to children or where there is a risk of tripping. [. . . ] After treating the non-stick surface with a cleaner, lightly moisten the plate surface with cooking oil before reusing. To clean the other parts of your grill, simply wipe off grease splashes and drops when they occur. [. . . ]
