Tip: If you turn on the Show Due Dates option in the To Do Show options dialog, you can tap directly on the due date in the To Do list to open the pick list shown in step 2. Page 135 Assigns the current date. Opens the date selector, where you can choose any date that you want for the item. Chapter 6 To Do Show Options The Show Options dialog box enables you to control the appearance of the To Do list screen. To change the Show Options settings: 1. Select any of the following settings: Show Completed Items Displays your completed items in the To Do list screen. If you turn off this setting, your To Do items disappear from the list when you complete (check) them. Items that no longer appear on the list because you turn off this setting have not been deleted. Show Only Due Items Shows only the items that are currently due, past due, or have no due date specified. When this setting is active, items that are not yet due do not appear in the list until their due date. Replaces the due date with the actual date when you complete (check) the item. If you do not assign a due date to an item, the completion date still records when you complete the item. Chapter 6 Page 137 Memo Pad A memo can contain up to 4, 000 characters. The number of memos you can store is dependent only on the memory available on your handheld. A record in Memo Pad is called a "memo. " To create a new memo: 1. Press the Memo Pad application button handheld to display the Memo list. Tap New. on the front of your Tap New Tip: In the Memo list screen, you can also begin writing in the Graffiti writing area to create a new memo. The first letter is automatically capitalized and begins your new memo. 3. Tap Done. Reviewing memos The first line of a memo appears in the Memo list.
