After removing the card from the computer, place the card flat on a grounded, static-free surface, component-side up. Before you install or remove memory modules, video memory, disk drives, circuit cards or other devices, protect them from static electricity. Extract the connector marked with a square in the image to disconnect the USB cable from the USB port. Note: To remove the USB cable also, disconnect the USB cable from the motherboard and remove it from the chassis.
