Destinator automatically searches the Address list for the first occurrence of the entered characters. After you have selected a city, Destinator displays the next address field, such as street and address number. You can also tap the Next button to move through the sequence of address screens. The following command keys are available to enhance your search process: If the automatic search feature does not find your specified name, use the Find button to conduct a sub-search, particularly useful when the address name consists of two or more words. Faster is the default value. This option selects the route that is the shorter distance. The shorter route may not always be the quickest, as you are able to travel faster on some roads than on others. Note: Route generation does not take into account any detours, stops, or delays along the route. When you are ready, tap the GO button to create a route to your selected destination. 23 7. 2 Recent Locations The Recent Locations screen lets you select an existing destination from a list of destinations that you have previously traveled to. As each new route is added to the top of the list, the older destinations at the bottom are erased. To navigate to a recently-traveled destination, tap the Recent Locations button.
