Replacing the handset batteries If you have been using your handset and find that you can no longer recharge the batteries, they may need to be replaced. The same kind of batteries as supplied in this product should be used. Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding it in the direction shown by the arrow. Close the battery compartment cover and secure its screw. 1. 6 Before you start Out of range warning If your handset is out of range of the base unit, there is a beep sound to alert you, and the display will show: If so, please move closer to the base unit until the handset display stops flashing. If you want to disable this tone, please refer to the section "Tone andVolume". Important: Due to radio interference in the environment, occasional loss of synchronisation between the handset and base may occur for a very short duration.
