Open the battery compartment cover by turning it in anticlockwise using a coin. Close the battery compartment cover by turning it in clockwise using a coin. ADD WATER NOTE Do not plug the unit to the power outlet before adding water. Remove the water tank cover, pour tap water in room temperature into the water tank.
