The following screen is a Tuning Screen for the Indication and Setting face plate built using the Face Plate Auto-Builder for NS in a 640×480 screen resolution. The display and operation of each object in the face plate is the same as the version for 800×600 screen resolution. 6-6 Indicator (Block Model 034) This section describes only the differences between the Indicator and Basic PID (Block Model 011). For details on the areas not covered here, refer to 6-1 Basic PID (Block Model 011). 6-6-1 Face Plates The face plates are almost the same as for Basic PID (Block Model 011), except that the Indicator does not provide functions related to SP and MV, and it is used as a PV Indicator Operator Interface. 59 Indicator (Block Model 034) Section 6-6 1 2 3 4 5 1: Status Display Indicator does not display the AUTO, MAN, and CAS status. The status character string displayed is determined by referencing the value of tag ITEM PV_ABN. Display (No characters displayed. ) PV error indication PV_ABN (ITEM 019) 0 1 These buttons are ON/OFF Buttons using a Select Shape of type 1 and switch to display the PV error indication characters. 4: Switch to CAS/MAN/AUTO Button, SP Bar Display, and SP Change Button The Indicator does not provide a Switch to CAS/MAN/AUTO Button, SP bar display, or Change SP Button. 5: MV and MV Index Position The Indicator does not provide an MV or MV index position. The following diagram shows face plate for the Indicator built using the Face Plate Auto-Builder for NS in a 640×480 screen resolution. The whole face is built using 458×142 dots. 60 Indicator (Block Model 034) Section 6-6 The display and operation of each object in the face plate is the same as the version for 800×600 screen resolution. 6-6-2 Tuning Screens The Tuning Screens for Indicator are almost the same as for Basic PID (Block Model 011), except that it does not provide SP or MV functions, and is used as a PV Indicator Operator Interface. 1 2 3 4 1: AT The Indicator does not provide an AT Button. 2: DV The Indicator does not provide a deviation alarm setting. 61 Segment Program 2 (Block Model 157) 3: Parameters The Indicator does not provide parameter settings. 4: Realtime trend The Indicator displays a graph for PV only. Indicator does not provide a setting field for each parameter, so up to eight characters can be displayed for the unit character string, instead of the four for Basic PID. 6-7 Segment Program 2 (Block Model 157) This section describes only the differences between the Segment Program 2 and Basic PID (Block Model 011). Display NR (No characters displayed. ) U1 (ITEM 015) 1 0 These fields are created as ON/OFF Buttons with a Select Shape of type 1 and are used to switch to the PV error indication characters. 2: X1 Display The fixed string "X1" is displayed as a Text object. 3: X1 Numeral Display A Numeral Display and Input object is used to display in engineering units the value for tag ITEM X1 (ITEM 007: Reference input). 4: Y1 Display The fixed string "Y1" is displayed as a Text object. 5: Y1 Numeral Display A Numeral Display and Input object is used to display in engineering units the value for tag ITEM Y1 (ITEM 008: Program input). 6: Alarm Setting Segment Program 2 does not provide a bar graph for the alarm settings. 7: X1 Bar Display A Level Meter object is used to display tag ITEM X1 (ITEM 007: Reference input). The meter color is green, maximum value is 11500 (115%), and minimum value is -1500 (-15%). The bar is set to display the zero point. 63 Segment Program 2 (Block Model 157) 8: Y1 Bar Display Section 6-7 A Level Meter object is used to display tag ITEM Y1 (ITEM 008: Program output). The meter color is yellow, maximum value is 11500 (115%), and minimum value is -1500 (-15%).
