Note: You may have to scale the object using Rotate & Resize to view the entire frame around an object. To frame an image: 1. Click Close. 59 Note: You can rotate, resize and otherwise adjust a prop object as you would any other object in the image. But you cannot merge a prop to an object, it merges to the base image. Shapes To add a shape to an image: 1. Select the Shapes category from the Category list in the Options panel. Double-click a shape in the Options panel; select a shape and click Apply; or drag the shape into the workspace. Click Close. Once you have the shape on the image, you may color it or apply a fill to it as you would any object. Click the Add Shadow button to apply a shadow to the selected image object. 60 5. 9. To change the color, select one of the preset colors or click the large color box to view more color options. (The leftmost option is the most opaque. ) In the workspace, adjust the position of the shadow by dragging the shadow's handle on the right. Click Close. Note: To quickly remove the shadow, select the image object, right-click it and then click Remove Shadow on the shortcut menu. Adding a Signature A signature is hand-written text or symbols added to an image. Use your mouse or pen tablet to write your signature and then adjust the settings. 6. Using Photo Explosion: Working with Objects. Applying Fills, Colors or Gradients You can fill objects with patterns or colors. 61 To fill an object with color: 1. To fill with a single color, select Single color and click a preset color or click the large color box for more color options. Choose Fill Nature Fill or Fill Pattern Fill from the Decorate menu. Adjust the Variation slider to have fewer or more instances of the pattern. Click Close. On some unlabeled CDs it is difficult to determine which is the label side and which is the data side. If you recorded the PhotoPlay show onto a CD-R, check the Owner's Manual of your DVD player to see if your DVD player can read CD-Rs. If it can read a CDR but it will not play the PhotoPlay show, you may have a damaged CD-R. If your DVD player cannot read CD-R discs, re-record your slide show to a CD-RW and try to play it again. 121 If you recorded the PhotoPlay show onto a CD-RW and it still will not play, check the bottom of the CD-RW for fingerprints or scratches.
