[. . . ] The vacuum cleaners must not be used or stored outdoors, or in damp places. If foam or liquid spills from the machine, switch off immediately and check for the cause. H - Attention plate Draws the operator's attention to the fact that the filter must only be shaken when the machine is off. Failing this, the shaking would have no effect while the filter itself could be damaged. [. . . ] Instructions to install parts on request are included in the conversion kit. - Setting to work - connection to the power supply - Before plugging the vacuum cleaner into the electricity mains, make sure that the voltage rating indicated on the data plate corresponds to that of the electricity mains. - Plug the vacuum into a socket with a correctly installed ground contact/ connection. - The plugs and connectors of the connection cables must be protected against splashed water. - Make sure that connections to the electricity main and plug are correct. - Only use vacuum cleaners when the cables that connect to the electricity main are in perfect condition (damaged cables could lead to electric shocks!- Regularly check that the electric cable does not show signs of damage excessive wear, cracks or ageing. - Only disconnect the flex from the electricity main by removing the plug (do not pull the flex). - Only replace the electric power cable with one of the same type as the original: HO7 RN-F. - The flex must be replaced by the manufacturer's Assistance Service staff or by an equivalent qualified personnel. If an extension is used, make sure it is fit for the power draw and protection degree of the vacuum cleaner. For this reason, make sure that the filter element is dry or replace it with another one before using the vacuum cleaner to clean up dry materials. 1) Disconnect the cables "A" and "B" from the electrical box "C". 4) Mount the electrical box "E" on the support "D". 5) Connect the cables "A" and "B" inside the electrical box "E". Connect hoses - "C": to the junction fitted into hole "A" and to pressure gauge "E" - "D": to the junction fitted into hole "B" and to pressure gauge "E" (on the side of the electrical connection). To restart the vacuum: - empty the bin; - place the bin back to its former position; - turn the switch to "0" and then to "1". 5 - Store the vacuum in a dry place, out of the reach of unauthorized people. NOTE:The precautions de scribed below must be taken during all the maintenance operations, in clud ing cleaning and replacing the filter. A) To allow the user to carry out the maintenance operations, the vacuum must be disassembled, cleaned and overhauled as far as is reasonably pos si ble, without causing hazards for the maintenance staff or other people. The suitable precautions include decontamination before disassembling the vacuum, adequate filtered ventilation for the air exhausted from the room in which it is disassembled, cleaning of the maintenance area and suitable personal protection. NOTE: Compartments that are not dust-tight must be opened with suitable tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, etc. [. . . ] - Proceed as described for the dismantling in reverse order to fit the lid and the filter in the intake container. Periodically clean the motor cooling fan to prevent the electric motor from overheating, par ticularly if the appliance is used in a dusty place. Make sure that connecting hose "A" is in a good condition and correctly fixed. If the hose is damaged, broken or badly connected to the unions, it must be replaced. [. . . ]
