Receiving Multimedia messages and Video messages in 2G Area The Multimedia messaging and Video messaging services are only supported by 3G. When your handset is in an area outside the 3G service area, you can still receive the notification messages in the 2G service area. However, you can only receive the contents of the Multimedia message or Video message within the 3G service area. -70- Message Basic Operations The basic operations for receiving and reading a message are shown below: To Receive a Multimedia Message or Video Message To 1 Check the notification message Do this When you receive a Multimedia message or Video message, the MMS centre sends you a notification message.
