Fill the fuel tank to a maximum of 2 cm below the lower edge of the filler neck. The oil level must be between the "Full/Max. " and the "Add/Min. " markings (Figure 22). See also handbook for engine. Check the tyre pressure Note For manufacturing reasons, the tyre pressure can be higher than necessary. front: 0. 7 bar rear: 0. 7 bar 9 English Operating Instructions Insert axle into the required hole (High/Low). When inserting the rollers (3) and the spacer (4), push back onto the axle. Note Always fit rear roller on both sides in the same position (High/Low). Note concerning steering The steering affects not only the angle of the rear wheels, but also the drive of the front wheels depending on the angle of the steering wheel. You can also turn this unit without a turning radius ("zero turn" around its own axis), i. e. A larger steering impact beyond 10° additionally serves to make the turning radius smaller up to a "zero-turn". As the steering wheel angle increases, the drive (speed) of the front wheels is affected, i. e. Complete steering impact additionally serves to make a "zero-turn" (turning on own axle) possible. The rear wheels are adjusted as far as possible and the drive (direction of rotation and speed) of the front wheels is affected simultaneously, i. e. the inner wheel rotates backwards and the outer wheel forwards at corresponding speed reduction. Note The larger the steering impact is, the greater the amount of power is needed to turn. As soon as the steering wheel is in the central setting again (driving straight on) the tractor will once again drive again at the speed previously set. Please pay attention to the fact that, according to the model, tight turning radii or "zero-turns" can lead, if applicable, to damage to the topsoil. Preparing for operation Park the appliance on a firm level surface and lock the parking brake. For all work on moving parts: Open the bonnet and disconnect the cable to the spark plug. Set the driver seat Fig. [. . . ] steering is made difficult, grease earlier. Once a season Cleaning the steering gear: Take away the cover (3, Fig. Lubricate all moving parts and bearing surfaces with a few drops of oil (control levers, cutting height adjustment). Clean the spark plug and check the gap between the electrodes or replace the plug. Have a repair shop lubricate the wheel axles with special grease (water-repellent).
