Replacement filter basket To maintain the suction of the cleaner the filter basket must be washed regularly (in warm water only, no detergent). IMPORTANT: Both parts MUST BE THOROUGHLY DRY before the assembly is re-fitted to the cleaner. An additional replacement filter basket is included so that the vacuum cleaner can continue to be used while the other filter basket is being washed and dried. I Motor protection filter This cleaner is fitted with a motor protection filter. NEVER USE THE VACUUM CLEANER WITHOUT THIS IN PLACE. To clean the motor protection filter 1 Remove the filter from the filter grille. 3 Put the filter back into the filter grille and reassemble. Remove the exhaust filter grille by pulling the locking tabs towards you. IMPORTANT · All filters should be checked regularly for signs of damage, preferably after each cleaning task. · Always disconnect the cleaner from the mains when checking filters. · If the sound of the cleaner changes slightly, clean the filters and check for blockages. Care and maintenance Your cleaner is manufactured to withstand normal day-to-day use, but an occasional wipe over with a damp cloth will help maintain its good looks. Abrasive cleaners should not be used. Purchasing filters Use original filters. Replacement packs can be purchased from specialist retailers or directly from our spares number.
