Electrical requirements
Check the voltage on the rating plate of your digital clock corresponds with your house electricity supply which must be A. C. (alternating current).
Battery back-up facility (Unit will work without a battery being fitted)
Your alarm clock is equipped with a battery back-up facility. 1 Remove the battery compartment cover (located underneath the unit) by pushing in the clip and lifting off. [. . . ] Plug the mains plug into the wall socket and switch on the wall socket. 3 Press and hold the TIME SET button and simultaneously hold down the FAST FORWARD button or the SLOW REVERSE button. The LED clock display will fast forward or reverse the minutes and hour segments. 4 The PM indicator will illuminate to indicate 12. 00 midday has been reached.
Set alarm 2 1 Slide the alarm selector switch to the AL2 position. 2 Press and hold the ALARM set/off button and simultaneously hold down the FAST FORWARD button or SLOW REVERSE button. The clock display will fast forward or reverse the minutes and hour segments. If set to AL1 or AL2 the alarm will operate at the preset alarm times.
Cancelling the alarm
The alarm is programmed to run for 59 minutes. 1 Press the SNOOZE button to stop the alarm temporarily, the alarm will repeat again in 7 minutes. 3 If the alarm is no longer required slide the alarm selector switch to the OFF position. (The alarm indicator(s) will switch off).
Setting the clock alarm time
Set alarm 1 1 Slide the alarm selector switch to the AL1 position. 2 Press and hold the ALARM set/off button and simultaneously hold down the FAST FORWARD button or SLOW REVERSE button. The clock display will fast forward or reverse the minutes and hour segments. Release all buttons when the correct alarm time is reached.
Snooze function
You can press the SNOOZE button after the alarm has sounded which allows 7 minutes of snooze time. The snooze function will cease to operate after 59 minutes.
