Thank you for buying your new Morphy Richards, Headgear mobile straightener. Please read these instructions carefully before use and keep in a safe place for future reference. Note: Your product is supplied with batteries fitted and it will need fully charging before use. [. . . ] When the batteries are charged the unit can be used whilst plugged into the mains to extend the times of usage, if so required. A new batterys full performance is achieved only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles. IMPORTANT : After charging your straightener ensure the rubber stopper is in position B, covering the charging connection.
Position of stopper
A rubber stopper is fitted to your mobile straightener to protect the product during transit. Position B shows the position to use during transit and when charged.

Adaptor
Use only the adaptor supplied with the product. The charging adaptor will get hot during use, this is quite normal

After use
Switch off after use, allow to cool and close the product. This will cause the batteries to go flat, and may damage other items in contact with the straightener. Ensure the straightener is cool and the rubber stopper is in position B before storing away. 1
Charging and discharging the battery
· · A new battery's full performance is achieved only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles. Do not leave the mobile straightener connected to a charger for longer than 24 hours this may shorten its life. If left unused a fully charged battery will discharge itself over time. Temperature extremes will affect the ability of your battery to charge and its life time. Try to keep the mobile straightener in an area that is between 15-25 oC. Never use the charger when damaged.

Battery Disposal
· The batteries in this product are not replaceable. When it reaches the end of its useful life they must be disposed of at an authorised recycling plant. Your local authority will have a centre which accepts such waste for recycling. ·
Cleaning
Clean when the product is discharged and unplugged. Don't let moisture enter the inside of the straightener or damage will occur.
