WARNING: The plug removed from the mains lead, if severed, must be destroyed as a plug with a bared flexible cord is hazardous if engaged into a live socket outlet. Should the fuse in the 13 amp plug require changing a 13 amp BS1362 fuse must be fitted. · · Location · · Do not use or keep this product outside in the rain. Do not store the appliance near hot surfaces eg ovens or heating appliances. [. . . ] IMPORTANT: When using the attachments the cleaner must only be used in an upright position with the carpet height adjustment knob set to tools setting. Note: The height adjustment only comes into effect when the handle is released by the handle release pedal Â. It is ideal for picking up stubborn dirt and pet hairs. 6 Cleaning the turbo nozzle (certain models only) The turbo nozzle should be regularly cleaned and any hairs or fibres wrapped around the brush bar removed to maintain optimum performance. Cleaning the premotor filter D Everytime a new bag is fitted, the filter should be taken out and cleaned. Failure to clean the filter will reduce suction and will damage the motor if used for prolonged periods. Replace front cover. D DUST CANISTER Dust bag indicator When the cleaner is switched on, if the dust bag condition indicator is continuously showing red (or if the suction is reduced) the bag must be replaced and the filters cleaned. If it is still showing red after emptying the dust bag and cleaning the filters, check to see if the hose is blocked. 2 3 Changing the dust bag C 1 2 3 Unplug the power cable from the socket. · · Remove the front by pressing the release lever at the top. Remove the old dustbag by holding the cardboard tab and pull towards you.
