To avoid the risk of accidents and damage to the vacuum cleaner, please read these instructions carefully before using it for the first time. They contain important information on its safety, operation and maintenance. Keep these instructions in a safe place and ensure new users are familiar with the content. [. . . ] ^ Press the telescopic tube release button to release the tubes and adjust to the required height. 6) a Push the suction tube into the floorhead and turn it clockwise or anti-clockwise until it clicks into position. Removing the floorhead b To release the floorhead from the suction tube, press the release button and pull the suction tube away from the floorhead. Adjusting the floorhead The floorhead can be used for all normal cleaning of carpets and rugs. It can also be used with the brush protruding to vacuum hard flooring. 1) a Insert the hose connector into the socket on the vacuum cleaner until it clicks into position. Removing the suction hose from the cleaner b Press the release buttons at the side of the hose connector and lift the hose from the socket. 2) ^ Fit the hose connector securely into the handle, making sure it clicks into position. Your vacuum cleaner is fitted with one of the following suction tubes, depending on model (see "Description of the appliance"). – EasyLock suction tube – Telescopic suction tube Connecting the EasyLock suction tube sections (dia. 3) ^ Take the section with the connecting piece, insert it into the other section and turn it clockwise or anti-clockwise until it clicks into position. 9) Please observe the flooring manufacturer's cleaning and care instructions. [. . . ] Replacing one type of exhaust filter with another Depending on model, your vacuum cleaner can be fitted with an Active Air Clean filter or an Active HEPA filter instead of the standard Air Clean filter. To change the type of filter, the Air Clean filter and the filter grille must first be removed and the new type of filter then fitted instead. When to replace an Active Air Clean filter or an Active HEPA filter These types of filter need to be changed approx. 33 When to change the thread lifters The thread lifters on the suction inlet of the floorhead can be replaced.
