Safety features You can activate a system lock, to prevent the appliance being used unintentionally. See "Changing settings - Main menu". 38 Changing settings The oven is supplied with pre-set standard settings. Those listed in the SETTINGS J menu have alternatives for you to choose from if you wish. 20 seconds, the display will revert to the SETTINGS menu. LIGHT Back A on on for 15 seconds B ^ Select and confirm the setting you want. 40 Changing settings Main menu The four cooking functions listed in the left-hand side of the display can be changed to show ones that you use frequently or to show your user defined programmes. You can change the factory default setting and set the cooling fan to switch off when the temperature in the oven is below about 70 °C or to switch off after a period of about 25 minutes. SETTINGS F. Do not leave food in the oven to keep it warm if you have set the cooling fan to timed operation. Moisture levels in the oven could increase, leading to condensation forming on the control panel and surrounding kitchen furniture and drops of moisture collecting under the worktop. ­ lead to corrosion in the oven. Pyrolytic cleaning A message will appear in the display after a certain length of time to remind you to run a pyrolytic cleaning programme. You can disable this message if you do not wished to be reminded. HEATING-UP PHASE Back A rapid B normal Rapid heat-up works as follows during the heating-up phase in the following functions FAN PLUS, CONVENTIONAL and AUTO ROAST: ­ It is switched on if the option "rapid" has been selected. Connection should be made via a suitable isolator which complies with national and local regulations. The appliance is supplied with a 3-core cable for connection to a 230-240 volt 50 Hz supply. The wires are coloured in accordance with the following code: Green/yellow = earth Blue = neutral = live WARNING THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. Brown WARNING THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. 73 Electrical connection AUS, NZ AUS: All electrical work should be undertaken by a competent person in strict accordance with national and local safety regulations.
