[. . . ] User Guide Getting to Know Your ScanMaker 1000XL The ScanMaker 1000XL is a tabloid-size scanner with a 12" x 17" scan bed, 6400 x 3200-dpi optical resolution, 4. 0 maximum optical density, and dual FireWire and HiSpeed USB interfaces. Launch ScanWizard Pro either as a standalone by clicking the program icon, or by using the File-Import or File-Acquire command from your image-editing program (such as Adobe Photoshop). Alternatively, you can start ScanWizard Pro from the Applications folder in your Mac OS X system. · The first time you launch ScanWizard Pro, you will be prompted to perform color calibration for your scanner.
