For backup purposes the device runs with one 9V block battery (not included). In case of a power interruption the set time will remain in the device's memory so there is no need to re-set the time afterwards. Plug the mains plug into a well accessible 230 V ~ 50 Hz socket. Inserting the batteries Press the clip on the cover of the battery compartment down and remove it. Insert a 9 V battery (6F22/6LR61/AM-6) as shown on the back wall of the battery compartment. Remove the battery from the device if you are not using the device for a longer period. Rotate the Multi-Jog anti-clockwise to set the minutes, clockwise to set the hours. Once the time is set, move the switch SETTING to the position "RUN" to complete time setting. Setting the projection clock To turn on the projection permanently, move the PROJECTION switch to the position ON; switch the projection off by moving it back to OFF. The projection will automatically start at the time you have set the alarm, regardless of whether the projection is set on or off. Set the hours by pressing simultaneously the HOUR button and the TIME button. Set the minutes by pressing simultaneously the MINUTE button and the TIME button.
