Before recording, you may re-edit the programme entry at any time, by opening the Timer menu again. A menu with the following options is displayed: Change: here you can change the recording data; Delete: the programmed recording is deleted; Disabled: the programmed recording is retained in the list but is not executed when the time is reached. All the menu items are selected by the arrow keys and confirmed with ENTER. A submenu opens in which you may select whether just the title selected or all the titles on the disk should be deleted. Confirm your selection with ENTER or press MENU, to cancel the procedure and return to the previous menu. Open the Geschützt option by pressing ENTER and confirm the subsequent question with the field by pressing ENTER. Here it is possible to assign another name to the chosen title, to split the title into two titles, to cut out a particular part or to set an index screen. The "Split recording" and "Delete section" functions cannot be executed with the DVD±R media. Under page a, page A or Icon, you may enable upper or lower case or select special characters. [. . . ] If condensation has formed in the device: give the player one to two hours to dry off. Check whether the batteries need changing and have been inserted correctly. Remove anything which may be blocking the signal between the infrared transmitter, the remote control and the unit's sensor.
