SparkArrestor A spark arrestor for the muffler is available through your authorized McCulloch dealer. 16 ContRoLs This operator's manual describes the McCulloch Zero Turn Rider. The rider is fitted with a Briggs & Stratton four-stroke overhead valve engine. Using the left and right steering controls, the flow is regulated and thereby the direction and speed. The steering controls can be moved forward or backward about a neutral position. Donotstore, spillorusegasolinenear anopenflame. 20 ContRoLs FuelShutOffValve The fuel shut off valve is located in the fuel line under the seat. Rotate the valve ¼ turn clockwise to turn fuel OFF. IMPORTANTINFORMATION Inordertoobtainanevencuttingheight, itis importantthattheairpressureis15psiinall tires. 8050-010 Fuel shut off valve in the OPEN position. MowerDeckLiftingLever The lifting lever is used to place the mower deck in the transport position or one of the 6 different cutting height positions. The cutting height is set by placing a lever in the notch for the desired cutting height. The lifting lever can also be used to temporarily adjust the cutting height, such as when passing a minor bump in the lawn. IMPORTANTINFORMATION Alwaysusethehighposition(F)totransport. 8058-085 The mower deck's lifting lever Tracking If the mower is not tracking straight, check the air pressure in both rear tires. (1 bar) Tracking must be checked on a flat and level concrete or blacktop surface. If the unit still does not track straight contact your McCulloch workshop for adjustments. 21 ContRoLs BladeControlLever To engage the mower blades, slowly lift the lever up and into the the lock notch. The EZT bypass linkages are located on the rear of the frame, below the rear engine guard. · To reengage the EZT's to drive, reverse the above procedure. 8050-018 Set bypass linkages into slots on both sides SeatAdjustmentLever The seat can be adjusted lengthways. The lever is located at the right side of the seat (as seen by the driver in the seat). Steering Tomoveforwardandbackward The direction and speed of the mower's movements is effected by the movement of the control lever(s) on each side of mower.
